ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m George, I’m a screenwriter and director based in London.
My work has received nominations and awards including Best Director, Audience Award, Best Comedy & Entertainment, as well as accolades from BAFTA-affiliated festivals, awards from The Royal Television Society, selection to Short Of The Week, LSFF & Aesthetica, and a long-list nomination for Best British Short Film at BIFA.
My multi award-winning 2018 short Beatles comedy ‘Paul Is Dead’ was met with critical acclaim and went on to achieve cult-status online, receiving a host of audience reviews on Letterboxd, as well as fan art and even DIY Halloween costumes. In 2021 I directed ‘Free Spirits’, a 30-minute paranormal comedy starring BAFTA-nominee Spencer Jones, due for release in 2023.
I have also directed over 50 music videos for independent artists, and work freelance as a script consultant, specialising in story. I have two feature films currently in development.
